#planksgiving day seven (Bike the US for MS)

Today I am thankful for Bike the US for MS.  My friend Liz is the one responsible for introducing me to this wonderful organization.  I rode the Bike MS:  Waves to Wine ride in San Francisco in 2014 and 2015 and Liz was the organizer for this ride.  A champion fighter for MS research and funding, Liz told me all about the amazing things they do while riding across the country, so in 2015 I joined them for 5 days of riding.  I was instantly hooked.

In 2016 I rode about half of the TransAm and in 2017 I did a self-contained tour in Italy, under the umbrella of the Bike the US for MS organization.  Through these wonderful people, we were able to raise money to transform Aunt Alba’s bathroom, making her shower wheelchair accessible.

Not only were the rides challenging and the service projects rewarding, but I also met some of the most amazing people in my life.

Can’t thank Bike the US for MS enough!!
